The Place Fund
5% of every item's price, set aside for the place it names.
It comes out of our own margin, not off your total — the price on the product is the price you pay. Each place keeps its own public ledger: what has been set aside, what is available, and what has been paid out to local projects.

Every figure reads $0.00 because no sale has happened yet. The share is fixed at the moment of sale, so the first order writes the first ledger entry — until then this page stays honestly empty rather than showing invented numbers.
City funds
No city funds are open yet. A city’s fund opens the moment it has something to buy — as soon as the first product is mapped to a city, that city’s ledger appears here.

Nothing has been paid out yet. When a city’s balance is ready, the payout — recipient, amount, rationale — is recorded on that city’s ledger and listed here.
How it works
You buy city goods
Every product names a real place, and the place is fixed the moment you buy — it’s on the print.
A fixed share is ledgered
5% of the price of every item — at least $0.25, at most $5.00 per item — written to that place’s public ledger when the order lands. No pooling, and nothing discretionary about what accrues.
The city’s fund pays out
Choosing the recipient IS a judgement, and calling it one matters: the step above promises only that the accrual is mechanical. When a balance is ready we pick a local project, and the record — recipient, amount, rationale — is published on that place’s fund page whether or not anyone asks.
Every accrual and payout is a row on a city’s public ledger. This page renders what the ledger returns — nothing more.
